We just closed escrow on our home and wanted to take the time to share our experience working with Ben & TJ!
Ben & TJ are hands down the best of the best. From the very first conversation we had with Ben a couple of years ago at an open house, we knew he was someone we could trust in regard to all things real estate in Encanterra. Ben’s knowledge of the community, the floor plans, the sales, the construction aspect (which most agents don’t have the first clue about), the overall marketability of a property, and all the things in between (the good, the bad and the ugly), make him a true real estate expert here in Encanterra. You may not like his facts, but they are spot on.
So, when we decided to sell our home we gave him a call. After visiting our home he gave us some homework, which was a list of items he suggested we do to get the exterior of our home looking it’s best. We took his advice, turned in our homework, priced our home where he suggested and within four days we had it under contract.
Then, our journey with TJ began. The world needs more TJ’s. She’s one of those people you just enjoy being around. She makes you feel at ease. She never tries to overrun you while you’re talking. She patiently listens. She offers suggestions in a way that’s complementary to what you’ve already done, rather than trying to make you feel you need to redesign your entire home. I think her best quality in this business is she makes you feel zero stress throughout the entire process, which is pretty amazing in itself. And I do mean zero! There was never a single time where I was left wondering what was next, or what needed to be done or signed. TJ works closely with clients, ensuring everything is running as flawlessly as possible (she and Ben also have a terrific assistant, Janna, who handles all of the paperwork and keeps everyone in the loop of what’s happening along the way). When TJ visited our home she offered some terrific suggestions for making the interior of our home stand out in photos, and always look it’s best for showings.
When offers came in, both Ben and TJ were on the call with us, each offering their own insight, which allowed us to make the best educated decision on moving forward with the transaction.
Full disclosure, I have been a licensed Realtor for 17 years. I am fully capable of and experienced in selling homes. However, I personally felt it was in our best interest to hire a team who was not only capable of selling a home, but someone who had community expertise, the vast knowledge of how to market our specific floor plan, and the ability to make this experience absolutely flawless. And, that’s exactly what we got. We also ended up getting $15,000 more on our home over the most recent model match sale in the community!
